RV Industry Association members are invited to attend an event on Thursday, February 9, in Elkhart, Indiana that will provide an in-depth look at the decision-making process consumers go through when considering the purchase of an RV. Seminar attendees will come aways with critical insights on what elements of the journey are most impactful to furthering RV enthusiasm and some key recommendation on how companies can enhance the purchase experience and create greater brand loyalty.
The seminar is based on the soon-to-be-released Go RVing Path to Purchase Research that looks at RV owners, intenders, and abandonments and examines the decision-making process for each group. The study also explores the mindset for each group that led to an additional RV purchase such an upgrade, different RV type, a first-time purchase for new RVers, or an abandonment or postponement an RV purchase.
During the February 9th event, attendees will hear from Go RVing marketing experts Karen Redfern, Courtney Bias, and Sarah Neely, as well as Tim Reimer and Angela Pitts from Ipsos, the firm that conducted the research. RV Industry Association Vice President of Membership & Research Bill Baker will lead the discussion.
Topics will include vital findings for companies on new and repeat buyers told through the prism of a couple buying a new RV and then another RV. Go RVing will provide input on strategies and efforts they leverage to target both new and repeat RV buyers and how brands can implement similar strategies. Panelists will also review key items that keep current owners in the market and brand loyal.
Taking place at the Crystal Ballroom in downtown Elkhart, the presentation will begin at 9am with doors opening at 8:30am for breakfast. The event is free and open to all members of the RV Industry Association.
