Please join us this coming Wednesday, September 2, at 12pm Eastern for a Virtual Town Hall with the U.S. Forest Service Chief Vicki Christiansen and Deputy Chief Chris French. The discussion will focus on the passage of the Great American Outdoors Act and what it means for the U.S. Forest Service and RVers who love to visit our national forests.
Vicki Christiansen serves as Chief of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service, leading a workforce of more than 28,000 permanent employees who steward 193 million acres of national forests and grasslands; support the world’s largest forestry research organization; and work with states, tribes and others to sustain all forests so they can benefit all citizens, today and in the future.
Chris French began his USDA career in 1991 on the Coronado National Forest in Arizona as volunteer in recreation. As Acting Deputy Chief, he is responsible for national policy and oversight of natural resource programs managing 193 million acres of National Forests and Grasslands.
