The RV Industry Association is proud to present the 4th Annual NHTSA Seminar, sponsored by Winnebago Industries, Forest River Inc., Thor Industries, Dometic Corporation, Lippert Components, Inc., Dave Carter & Associates, Dexter Axle Company and Flexsteel Industries, Inc.
This interactive seminar will focus on the following potential life stages of a recall: (1) identifying a potential issue that requires further investigation, (2) elevating such issue to a safety committee, (3) investigating and identifying the elevated issue , and (4) administering a recall campaign; in addition to reviewing basic federal motor vehicle safety standards and the function of a safety committee. There will be a keynote presentation given by Bruce York of NHTSA, followed by interactive break-out sessions where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss such topics with their peers, as well as industry compliance veterans and outside legal counsel serving the industry.
All interested parties are invited, particularly those that have compliance responsibilities, wish to learn more about safety and recall issue processes, or are involved in identifying potential issues that may need to be elevated to a safety committee/superior. This complimentary seminar is an RV Industry Association Member-only event.
